The Cheltenham U3A Modern History Group meets at 2.00pm to 4.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month at Highbury Congregational Church, Priory Walk, Cheltenham, GL52 6DT, where it enjoys the use of comfortable and well-equipped rooms and resources, with facilities for refreshments. 

It takes as its focus all aspects of world history, very roughly, and flexibly, from the French Revolution onwards, with presentations offered by Group members. Currently it is following a major and systematic chronological study of Europe from that time, and its dealings with rest of the world, which has now reached the Second World War."
