Each month, except August, we hold an Open Meeting at St Matthew’s Church, Clarence St (opposite the main library) where members can meet over a cup of coffee or tea and a biscuit, followed almost always by speaker on a subject of general interest. Refreshments are served from 10.00 and the meeting starts at 10.30. There is a charge of £3 payable at the door. Note: we cannot take payment by card.

We are lucky enough to have a large membership and many of you may have interesting skills and a vast amount of knowledge. Some of you may well be able to talk to us about these different skills, hobbies and interests. If any of you would like to give a presentation to us please get in touch with the Speakers Secretary
