This is a book group that takes a topic and each member chooses a book that reflects the topic and society. Each persons talks briefly about their chosen book and there is general discussion around the selected books and topic. Part of the pleasure is to find the book, and it does not have to be fiction.

Recent topics have included Latin America, Compassion and coming up are Trees and the 1930s. The topics are agreed at the beginning of each year. We meet on a Thursday morning at my house in Charlton Kings.
