I enjoy being in India, Malaysia etc and this has led me to read quite a lot about the region and I thought it would be good to hear other’s views and what they thought about what has been written on the region.

I would like to feel that we could explore a wide range of topics, very old to very new, novels, travel, history, architecture, religion, politics (both in a general sense) and cuisine. Literature by local writers and also by those who write about the region. Authors can be classical, colonial, recent. Alive or dead.

I know that this is a very wide canvas but, I think, it is better to start this way and set the parameters as we develop.

I envisage meeting in private residences or even coffee shops like Andria's in the Suffolks which is quiet and friendly.
