Venue: St Marks Methodist Church Hall

Why? According to the NHS website, dancing is good for you! It improves posture and balance, strengthens bones, beats stress and, above all, is fun.

Who? We are a small, friendly group who would love to have some new members.

No experience is necessary. We walk through dances first and have a caller to remind us what to do. You do not need a partner. You do not need any special equipment, just a pair of flat comfy shoes. English Dances are generally less energetic than those done at Ceilidhs or in Scottish Country Dancing (more like Jane Austen films!) Why not come along and join in the fun? For further details, click the link to email group leader. Many thanks.

Here are links to a couple of YouTube videos which give a good idea of the type of dancing we do.

Note: There is a car park behind the hall and the D bus from the town stops close by.
