This group has been running for six years. We don’t have regular group meetings at a venue. There are currently about 16 in the group and around Christmas time we meet up and bring along our diaries. We then choose a date on which we would each like to organise a short break away in the caravan or motorhome.

Each person chooses a site and then I send e-mails to all members notifying them of the get-togethers. We do our own site bookings and pay for ourselves. It works well.

On the trips, one night we always have a group meal in a local pub. We often go for a group walk and sometimes we go out together for the day. Generally, we do our own thing during the day and meet up for a drink and chat in  the evenings - outside if the weather is good.
