The u3a choir is a sociable and friendly group who enjoy singing together for pleasure, although we do occasionally perform for senior groups.

Each member of the choir has their own folder of music and we usually sing in four parts ( soprano, alto, tenor and bass ) with a piano accompaniment.

A wide range of music is included in our repertoire from musicals to classical.

We are big fans of John Rutter!; thus, the ability to read music is not essential, but is advantageous.

We meet every Monday afternoon in school term time at Bethesda Methodist Church in Great Norwood Street from 2.15 to 3.30pm.

We pay a weekly subscription which covers the cost of hiring the hall and the purchase of music.
