We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at each other’s houses. We take turns to choose books. The main criterion is that the books chosen have either stood the test of time, or are likely to. 

In September we choose a book written by one of the contributors to the Cheltenham Literature Festival; in October the group attends that contributor’s talk and discuss it in the tent afterwards. This has become an annual 2–part event in our calendar.
