A Warm Welcome
If you are no longer in full-time employment or if you are retired, you are welcome to join our Cheltenham u3a. This is important because most meetings are held during the daytime.
The u3a provides the ideal opportunity to keep your mind active, share your interests and hobbies with like-minded people, explore and develop new interests, even learn a new language, go on trips and outings, and also make new friends, sing, dance, and make music.
In short, become a member of a new community outside of a work environment and stay in the loop.
Meet some of our Members
An Open Meeting, with the bonus of an interesting talk, is held once a month at St Matthew's Church opposite the Central Library. Over a cup of coffee you can pick up a brochure, ask any questions you might have, and perhaps stay for the speaker who will entertain on a subject of general interest.
The meetings are usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10.00 for 10.30 - 11.30 am. See the Events page for dates and the list of talks for the next few months.
